Interview day with Harry and Bobbi, then fish and chips.

For the object project I decided I wanted to animate an interview with my friend Harry. He taught me to play the saxophone when I was a wee girl, so we've been good friends for many years. Harry is a wonderful musician and one of the most genuinely warm and happy people I've ever met. Leading from the piano stool (my chosen chair), I wanted to theme the interview around the highlights of his life and the joy of creative expression. Unfortunately, Harry was recently diagnosed with motor neurone disease and can't perform any more, but the world works in mysterious ways.

The interview went super great, it ended up being about 2 hours long, we just got carried away. But I have no idea how I'm going to start condensing it down, it's just good to have it on tape. After a few intense hours we revitalized with a drink and delicious fish and chips. It was wonderful.

Disco Inferno.

These are a few photos of the t-shirts and bags I've been printing over the last few days. I wanted to make some to hopefully sell at a market over christmas. I chose to print some funky guys from the 70s. Mainly because I think that disco is one of the greatest things that happened in the history of mankind. I'm not sure whether others agree, but they make pretty good t-shirts and bags.
